Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two #3x7.5-inch loaf pans{} (or one standard 9x5-inch loaf pan).

In a #large mixing bowl{}, cream softened @unsalted butter{1/2%cup}. Gradually add @granulated sugar{1%cup}, beating with a #hand mixer{} until light and fluffy.

Add @eggs{2} one at a time, beating well after each addition.

In a separate bowl, sift together @all-purpose flour{1.5%cups}, @unsweetened cocoa powder{2%tbsp} (Droste's recommended), @baking soda{1%tsp}, and @ground cinnamon{1/2%tsp}.

Stir dry flour mixture into wet egg mixture, blending thoroughly. Add @vanilla extract{1%tsp}.

Stir in @mashed ripe bananas{1%cup}, @sour cream{1/2%cup}, and @semi-sweet chocolate chips{1/2%cup}. Mix until thick and homogenous like pound cake batter.

Spoon batter into prepared loaf pans. Bake for ~bake{55%minutes}, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool in pans for ~cool{10%minutes}, then transfer to a #wire cooling rack{} until completely cool before slicing.\n
