Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two #baking sheets{} with parchment paper.

In a #large bowl{}, cream softened @unsalted butter{1%cup}, @packed brown sugar{1%cup}, and @granulated sugar{1/2%cup} with a #hand mixer{} until smooth and fluffy.

Add @eggs{2} and @pure vanilla extract{1%tsp}; beat until light.

Add @baking soda{1%tsp}, @ground cinnamon{2%tsp}, and @all-purpose flour{1.5%cups}. Mix until just incorporated.

Stir in @old-fashioned oatmeal{3%cups} (uncooked) and a full bag of @semi-sweet chocolate chips{12%oz} (or substitute raisins, craisins, and/or chopped walnuts) with a #wooden spoon{}.

Using a #cookie scoop{}, scoop dough into rounded balls and place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. (Unbaked dough balls can also be frozen on a tray and baked fresh as needed!).

Bake at 350°F for ~bake{10%to 12%minutes} until edges are lightly golden.

Cool on baking sheet for ~cool{3%minutes}, then transfer to a #wire cooling rack{}.
