Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a #large bowl{}, toss sliced fresh or frozen @peaches, blackberries, or blueberries{5%cups} with @granulated sugar{1/2%cup}, @cornstarch{1.5%tbsp}, @fresh lemon juice{1%tbsp}, and @ground cinnamon{1/2%tsp}.

Transfer fruit mixture into a greased #9x13-inch baking dish{}.

In a medium bowl, whisk together @all-purpose flour{1.5%cups}, @granulated sugar{1/2%cup}, @baking powder{1.5%tsp}, and @kosher salt{1/2%tsp}.

Cut in cold @unsalted butter{6%tbsp} with a #pastry cutter{} until mixture resembles coarse peas.

Stir in @whole milk or buttermilk{1/2%cup} and @vanilla extract{1%tsp} just until a thick drop-biscuit dough forms.

Drop spoonfuls of dough evenly over the top of the fruit filling (it will spread as it bakes).

Sprinkle dough tops with @coarse turbinado sugar{2%tbsp} and a dusting of cinnamon.
